Resort description:The ski resort of Sölden comprises two glaciers, 39 lifts and 146 kilometres of pistes. The main part of the ski resort is located on a sea level of 200 m and reaches 3000 m on three peaks (the big three). The highest peak you can reach by ski lift is 3269 m, ensuring rather good snow all season, with Obergurgl being a short distance away.

Sölden is certainly one of the top 5 international ski resorts in Austria. The town itself stretches for more than 2km along the valley floor with traditional Tyrolean-style buildings situated on both sides of the river and along the main road. It is a vibrant resort with a great atmosphere. With more runs than Chamonix and Kitzbühel, Sölden has a lot to offer. Sölden is the only winter sports resort worldwide that runs an International Test Centre with all of the most important manufacturers based here.
