At the heart of the world renowned 4 Valleys ski area, linked to Verbier, lies Nendaz. In the shadows of the  Mont Fort glacier providing high altitude skiing or boarding for all levels, from beginners to expert,Nendaz offers the oppotunity for the expert and learner to experience awesome off-piste possibilities.Snowboarders will also revel in this area and normally snow sure winter conditions are augmented by 22 snow canons.

Nendaz itself isnt a big ski area, offering around 70km of pistes, but being part of the 4 valleys you have a further 350km to cruise around, (serviced by 92 lifts) and take advantage of some of the best off piste skiing in Europe.We would generally recommend beginners base themselves in Nendaz rather than Verbier but having the access to this huge area means that all abilities would be happy staying here, unless you want a very vibrant nightlife!

Nendaz..The Apres Ski

Malabar and Cactus bars set the trend, with the Moose bar (Canadian Pub).Les Etagnes and Lime It’s Up bars offer an outdoor inviting atmosphere after your hard day on the slopes. Tchin-Tchin is an ever popular piano bar , for those wanting a quieter evening.For the energetic there is the Oxygene disco bar where you can dance until the wee small hours, if your legs can take it.Prices around here after skiing are more reasonable than Verbier.
