The Colorado Ticket offers the biggest ski area experience in the USA, ( together with Lake Tahoe,Whistler and Utah) rivalling in size the major French ski areas. On one lift pass, you can ski not only Vail and Beaver Creek but Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin as well.Thats over 700 km of skiing albeit interspersed and not interconnected. Cruising a groomed blue run, on a wide piste, between the trees, with few people around you typifies skiing in America. Its just fantastic for your confidence. Check out the views from Two Elk restaurant, perhaps  the largest mountain eatery in the world. Nearby Beaver Creek, is the ideal venue for those who enjoy intermediate cruising days out and sampling the steep runs of the Birds of Prey mens downhill run. Its also a boarders paradise.
